At US Solar, we believe in making clean, affordable power easy. We only need a few minutes of your time–then you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the savings.
Here’s how easy our installation process is:
Give Your Technician Access.
Our expert installation technicians will arrive between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on installation day. They’ll need you to be onsite to provide electrical panel and attic access, as necessary. Most installations take only 3-4 hours.
Give Your Inspector Access.
Once your new solar system is installed, a county inspector will need to verify it’s safe and up to code before we turn it on.
The county inspector will need you to be onsite to provide electrical panel and attic access, as necessary. Most inspections are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. (We’ll coordinate with the inspector to help narrow down the inspector’s ETA on inspection day.)
Get Your Netmeter
After your solar system passes inspection, your power company will install a solar netmeter on your property.
This measures the amount of solar power your system generates and how much your home consumes. (This is also how your power company determines how much extra energy your system produces–and how much THEY need to pay YOU for it.)
Your power company has up to 30 days after your system passes inspection to complete the netmeter installation.
Power Up and Enjoy the Savings
The same week that your netmeter is up and running, our solar technicians will turn on your new power system–and you can start enjoying the savings.
Explore Incentives and Rebates Available for Solar Energy
Save money with incentives and rebate options!
Investing in solar power is a big decision, which is why we’re committed to helping you take advantage of every incentive available to you. From tax credits, Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs), and solar rebates to net metering and specific state incentives, we’ll help you find the best solar programs and incentives available.
Solar Power: The Clean, Sustainable Solution for the Environment
Save the environment by choosing solar power!
You’ll be doing your part to protect the planet for future generations. . . while making it a better place today.
How does it work? Here’s how solar panels help save the environment:
Reduce Pollution
Unlike traditional energy sources, solar panels produce zero harmful emissions during operation.
Reduce Water Usage
Traditional power plants need large amounts of water for cooling. Your solar panels don’t–which helps reduce water waste and prevent contamination.
Reduce Dependence on Fossil Fuels
Fossil fuels are some of the biggest air pollutants out there–and when you’re not relying on them to power your home, you’re doing your part to give everyone a breath of fresh air.
